Terms of purchase
By shopping at ticketmaster.dk, you accept (i) the following conditions for purchase (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions"); (ii) any special conditions relating to a product and/or event; (iii) other conditions from the Promoter; and (iv) any terms of the Venue (including conditions of entry).
Ticketmaster Denmark (hereinafter also referred to as "Ticketmaster" or "we") reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we make such changes, an updated version of the Terms will be available on our website. We therefore recommend that you regularly keep yourself updated on the current terms and conditions. All purchases are subject to the version of the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase. If you cannot accept or agree to a revised version of the Terms, please do not make a purchase.
The purchase agreement is covered by the general rules of Danish law.
- About the relationship between the ticket buyer, the promoter and Ticketmaster Denmark
- Ticketmaster Denmark's role as intermediary
Ticketmaster Denmark exclusively mediates the sale of tickets between the ticket buyer and the responsible organiser/promoter. The purchase agreement is thus entered into between the ticket buyer and the responsible organizer, and it is therefore also the individual organizer who is responsible for fulfilling the agreement.
- Validity of tickets
Always buy your ticket(s) from an authorized ticket agent.
Ticketmaster Danmark does not assume responsibility for the validity of tickets that may have been purchased outside Ticketmaster Danmark's and the organiser's official sales channels and locations. So always buy ticket(s) from an authorized ticket agent. Then you will get your ticket(s) at the right price. And you are sure of the validity of the tickets.
- Liability
Ticketmaster Danmark has no responsibility towards the customer regarding organisers' reconstruction, suspension of payments, bankruptcy, cancellation of events, other defects or any other complaints regarding an event. All inquiries in this regard should be directed to the organizer. Information about the organiser's full name, address, telephone number etc. can be obtained via telephone number +45 38 48 16 30 or accessed via the "My Tickets" tab under My Profile on Ticketmaster's website.
- Cancellation
In case of cancellation, please refer to the responsible organizer for further information and possible refund. As a ticket agent, Ticketmaster Danmark is not liable for refunds in connection with a cancellation. It is the individual organizer who, as your contractual party, is responsible for refunding the purchase price in the event of cancellation. The organizer reserves the right to, in rare and/or exceptional cases, replace the ticket with a similar artist/event. Changes in repertoire, or partial completion of an event are not equated with a cancellation, which is why the money for this is generally not refunded. Also see the organizer's information about the event.
- Delivery
- Delivery options
Once you have chosen the event and number of tickets, you will be given the choice between various payment and delivery options. The options depend on the event itself, the venue, which country you live in, how long until the event's start time, etc.
Please pay attention to the delivery options you are offered. You can read more about the various options below.
eTicketFast (formerly "TicketFast") – you print your own ticket and take it to the venue. You can also pick up a mobile-optimized ticket under My Profile if you open www.ticketmaster.dk on your smartphone. Read more about eTicketFast here .
Standard post – if you buy your ticket in enough time for us to send it by standard post (min. 7 working days before the event date), you will be offered this delivery option. You can also choose to have your tickets sent in a gift box. If the address information on the order is incorrect, Ticketmaster does not assume responsibility for the shipment or any loss of this. In order for the postal service to deliver tickets correctly, the recipient's name must appear on the mailbox that belongs to the specified address, and it is the sender's responsibility to check this.
Reservation – when reservation is available, you can reserve tickets here at ticketmaster.dk, and subsequently choose to buy them by telephone via the Ticketmaster Danmark Servicecenter on tel. 38 48 16 30. The tickets can also be picked up and paid for at a physical point of sale.
2.2. Shipping and risk regarding physical tickets
Ticketmaster Danmark draws particular attention to the fact that Ticketmaster Danmark does not assume responsibility or risk for the accidental destruction, deterioration, loss or damage of physical tickets during shipment to the buyer. However, see section 11.1 on replacement tickets.
Ticketmaster Denmark is not liable for mistakes made by customers in connection with entering contact information. Ticketmaster Denmark is also not liable if such errors cause tickets not to reach customers in time.
If the address information on the order is incorrect, Ticketmaster does not assume responsibility for the shipment or any loss of this. In order for Postnord to deliver correctly, the recipient's name must appear on the mailbox that belongs to the specified address, and it is the sender's responsibility to check this.
The Collector Ticket will be sent no later than 2 weeks before the event. However, it is possible that it is sent earlier.
3. Payment
A binding agreement is only entered into when Ticketmaster Denmark has received/registered payment.
At ticketmaster.dk, payment is accepted with the following payment methods and payment cards:
Dankort
VISA/Dankort
PayPal
MobilePay
MasterCard
Visa Electron
You can also pay with Klarna. With Klarna, you can choose to pay the amount within 30 days. Please note that a fee of 3.5% of the total purchase will be charged when using Klarna as a form of payment. See conditions for Klarna . Note: Certain foreign credit cards are not accepted on ticketmaster.dk for security reasons. You are welcome to contact our Service Center on tel. 38 48 16 30 if you have any questions about this. Personally identifiable information (name, address, etc.) is stored and transmitted in a closed network. There is therefore no access to this information from the Internet. All information regarding payments is sent encrypted to Nets via Adyen. ticketmaster.dk is a VeriSign Secure Site. See also our Personal Data Policy .
4. Fees
Tickets sold through Ticketmaster Denmark are subject to a ticket fee, which may vary depending on, among other things, the price of the event and the conditions otherwise agreed with the individual organiser. The ticket fee is included in the price you see on ticketmaster.dk.
At those events where the organizer allows tickets to be exchanged, a ticket fee applicable at any time is charged for the event in question.
Read more about our fees here .
5. Right of withdrawal
5.1. No right of cancellation on tickets
Pursuant to Section 18, subsection of the Consumer Contracts Act. 2, no. 12, the purchase of tickets is generally not covered by the right of cancellation. The exception includes, among other things, the purchase of tickets for sporting events and cultural events, including theater performances, concerts, etc.
However, Ticketmaster Denmark provides a special service to its customers, including a special right of cancellation in the form of Fan Guarantee. Read more about the Fan Guarantee in section 5.2 below.
Read more about the right of withdrawal for goods and other services in section 5.3 below.
5.2. Fan Guarantee
As a Ticketmaster customer, you get a number of benefits, including a special right of cancellation on your ticket purchase. You simply have to fill in a form on our website within 24 hours of the purchase - and we will return your money. Please note that there must be more than 14 days to the event in order for you to make use of the Fan Guarantee. You will find the form here .
The completed form must be in the hands of Ticketmaster within 24 hours - otherwise the right of cancellation expires, and we refer to the applicable rules for the right of cancellation on tickets. Read more about the Fan Guarantee here .
Note that the actual refund of your money may take a few days after your refund request has been approved.
5.3. Right of withdrawal for goods and other services
In connection with the purchase of tickets for certain events, it is possible to add/purchase a product/service. You can therefore in certain cases cancel your added purchase.
If your purchase is covered by the right of withdrawal, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement without reason within 14 days. The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after you have taken physical possession of the goods, or after the day on which you entered into the agreement for the service. If the cancellation period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the cancellation period is deemed to have expired on the following business day.
Whether you have the right of cancellation, and the possible use of the right of cancellation, is solely a matter between you and the organizer. In this section 5.2, however, Ticketmaster Danmark gives you general information about the rules on the right of cancellation.
5.3.1. Exceptions to the rules on the right of withdrawal
There are a number of exceptions to the right of withdrawal. In relation to the services that can be purchased on ticketmaster.dk, the exceptions are relevant for agreements on:
- transport, including travel by plane, bus, train, taxi, etc.
- accommodation, e.g. at a hotel, hostel or campsite and renting a holiday home
- catering, e.g. restaurant visits and delivery of food (catering)
- recreational leisure activities, including entertainment, sports and similar cultural events, e.g. concerts, theater performances and sports events.
However, the listed services are only exempt from the right of withdrawal if it is clear from the agreement when (which day or specific period) the service in question must be performed. However, this will normally be the case for services purchased via ticketmaster.dk.
If the agreement relates to a non-financial service or a product which must be manufactured or adapted to your individual needs, the right of withdrawal only applies until the execution, manufacture or adaptation begins, when you have previously given your consent to the organizer being able to begin the execution, etc. before expiration of the withdrawal period.
5.3.2. Exercising the right of cancellation
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give the organizer an unequivocal notice that you wish to cancel the purchase, e.g. by letter or e-mail. You can also use the standard cancellation form at the bottom of these terms, but it is not mandatory.
The cancellation period has been met if you send the notice of exercise of the right of cancellation before the period has expired.
5.3.3. Return
About the condition of the item when you send it back: You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item that is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature of the item, its properties and the way it functions. In other words – you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store. If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, the organizer can consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the item's commercial value. In order to receive the entire purchase amount back, you must therefore do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the item, but not actually use it.
5.3.4. Refund
Regarding refund of the purchase amount: Ticketmaster Denmark refers, cf. above, to the organizer, but as a general rule, if you regret your purchase, you will of course get the amount you paid us back. In the event of a decrease in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the Promoter will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. The repayment is made with the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed to something else. We can withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation that you have returned it before then.
6. Complaints
The Purchase Act's defect rules may apply.
7. Access to complaints
If you wish to make a complaint, you must contact us via the contact form . If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can lodge a complaint with Nævnenes Hus, Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, if the conditions for making a complaint are met. You can complain to the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints via www.naevneneshus.dk .
It is basically a prerequisite for making a complaint that the product or service you want to complain about has cost at least DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. The amount limits can be changed. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed. The Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints will try to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if you are unable to find a solution, you can bring the complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board within 4 weeks of the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints having concluded the case.
You can also use the EU Commission's online complaints portal, which will however mainly be relevant if you are a consumer residing outside Denmark. You will find the complaints portal here: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
8. About access to an event
Check the information on the ticket, including the event info, date/time and address.
The barcode on the ticket only allows entry for one person, unless otherwise stated. Illegal copying or resale of tickets may result in you being refused entry to the event. Ticketmaster Denmark and the organizer have no responsibility for problems caused by illegal copying and/or resale of tickets.
There will often be restrictions on what effects may be brought to the event, e.g. drinks, cans, bottles, food, camera, video equipment, laser sticks, chairs, umbrellas, fireworks, weapons and the like. Read any more on the organizer's website.
Read more about other event-specific conditions that may be listed under the event here on ticketmaster.dk and/or on the organizer's website. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue/event, or to remove any person from the venue/event, with reference to applicable security considerations (including crowd surfing, moshing, or failure to meet the minimum requirements the spread of Covid-19) - or any unacceptable behavior that may cause injury, personal injury or irritation, or that violates the organizer's terms and conditions. Any breach of this will result in you not being entitled to a refund.
9. Transfer
It is, cf. "Act on the resale of tickets for cultural and sports events", illegal to sell and resell tickets at a premium in Denmark. This means, among other things, that it is forbidden to resell tickets for a profit. Read more here .
9.1. TICKET TRANSFER (Transfer tickets)
- Ticketmaster offers a "Ticket Transfer " feature for transferring tickets at many events. If Ticket Transfer is available, you can use it to transfer tickets you have purchased to e.g. friends or family, by logging into your Ticketmaster profile and following the procedure.
- Ticket Transfer must be used to transfer tickets to e.g. friends and family. So only use Ticket Transfer to transfer tickets to people you know and trust. It is not a tool to resell tickets.
- By using Ticket Transfer to transfer a ticket you have purchased (or which has been transferred to you from someone else who has used Ticket Transfer), you are simply transferring the right to use the ticket. All of the terms accepted upon purchase (including the associated rights and obligations) remain a relationship between the original ticket purchaser and Ticketmaster, regardless of how many times the ticket is transferred to another fan. All the applicable conditions regarding the use of the ticket, remain valid for the ticket, regardless of how many times it has been transferred using Ticket Transfer.
- Ticket Transfer can only be used for tickets, and not for any additional products purchased together with the ticket.
- Ticketmaster reserves the right to cancel a Ticket Transfer transfer if we suspect fraud, breach of law, fraud or other conditions that are in breach of the Terms of Purchase or other conditions that may be valid.
- You can cancel a Ticket Transfer transfer, but only as long as the recipient has not accepted it yet.
- IMPORTANT: Once the recipient has accepted your Ticket Transfer invitation, you can no longer:
- use your original ticket for the event
- cancel the transfer, or get the transferred ticket back in another way (since the recipient will get a new ticket with a new barcode)
- use our Fan Guarantee
- transfer the ticket. If a ticket is transferred several times using Ticket Transfer, only the ticket from the most recent transfer is valid. The barcode will be invalid on all previous tickets.
- If an event is canceled or moved, only the original ticket purchaser of the ticket can receive a possible refund. It is therefore only the original ticket buyer that the organizer (or possibly Ticketmaster on behalf of the organizer) will be in contact with regarding the ticket and the event.
It is the responsibility of the original ticket buyer to ensure that the recipient of a transferred ticket receives the information that Ticketmaster or the organizer may send out.
- Please note that if you have purchased ticket insurance, the ticket insurance will still apply to the original order and the tickets it contains.
10. Special restrictions
Please also note that there may be other or additional restrictions in relation to the transferability of tickets at the individual events. Tickets may not be used commercially for package sales, competitions, resale or the like, unless the organizer has given permission for this.
See special information about Live Nation's events here .
11. Ticketmaster Denmark's services
11.1. Replacement tickets
As a service in connection with the vast majority of events, Ticketmaster Danmark will be able to issue replacement tickets if your physical tickets do not arrive, are lost or have been damaged. Contact our Service Center on tel. 38 48 16 30 if you need to have your tickets replaced. It costs the ticket fee per ticket + DKK 50 in administration costs. When replacement tickets are issued, the original tickets are invalidated. Once a printing of replacement tickets has been completed, it is not possible to undo the order.
11.2. Changing the name on a ticket
For events where personal tickets are required, it is possible for the original ticket buyer to change the name on one or more tickets by contacting the Ticketmaster Service Center. The ticket buyer simply has to provide the last 4 digits of the card number with which the payment was originally made, as well as the order number of the purchase. The price is DKK 45 per name being changed. Please note that this service does not replace our Fan Guarantee.
11.3. Refunds and cancellations
Purchased tickets are refunded up to 24 hours after ticket purchase as part of Ticketmaster's Fan Guarantee. See section 5.2 above and read more here . In the event of cancellation, please contact the responsible organizer for further information and a possible refund. Tickets are generally always refunded to the ticket buyer in such cases. As a ticket agent, Ticketmaster Danmark is not liable for refunds in connection with a cancellation. Ticketmaster Denmark contractually seeks to ensure that organizers refund the ticket purchase sums in the event of cancellations, but we cannot assume any commercial responsibility for this.
Fees, surcharges such as the Collector Ticket and any shipping costs are not refunded. More information about refunds .
When a purchase has been completed, you will receive an order confirmation per email with all information about your transaction. In addition, you can always see your current reservations and purchases under My Profile .
